Concert Concertband Antwerpen

Where:
Wapenplein
When:
Sun 25 Aug 2019

Since the end of 2018, Concertband Antwerp is the result of a fusion between the Royal Brass and Reed Band 'Ste Katarina' and the nonprofit organisation 'Peter Benoit'. Their aim is to get the concert band to a musical level that is as high as possible. The band consists of several experienced musicians and is led by a skilled and passionate music director. This does not mean, however, that we do not want or that we are not able to give less experienced musicians the opportunity to participate. The repertoire consists of pieces specially written for brass and reed bands but also of classical, jazz, film, modern and other popular pieces. Several concerts a year and a competition once in a while provide an extra challenge to the band. They are also a member of the 'Honour' section.
