How do I get to Winter in Oostende?


There are several ways to get to Winter in Oostende. We recommend using the bicycle as much as possible, as it allows you to ride almost directly to the event. Public transportation also takes you right to the doorstep of the event.

By Bicycle

We have provided several bicycle parking facilities near all event venues. On Wapenplein, there is a bicycle parking near the corner of Kerkstraat and Breidelstraat. In the vicinity of Leopold Park, there is a cycle park at the sea car park at Dikke Mathilde.

Of course, you can also make use of the 100 fixed bicycle racks spread throughout the city center or the spacious underground bicycle parking under Stationsplein.

By Bus

De Lijn buses will take you close to the city center. Near Leopoldpark, you can disembark at the Oostende Stadhuis or Oostende Marie Joséplein stops. For Wapenplein, you can choose from the Oostende Centrum, Oostende Kapucijnenkerk, or Oostende Vlaanderenstraat stops.

By Coastal Tram

The Coastal Tram is the ideal means of transportation if you're coming from one of the other coastal municipalities to Winter in Oostende. Take the Marie Joséplein stop, and you'll be on Wapenplein or in Leopoldpark within a few minutes.

The train station in the city center is within walking distance of the seaside promenade and shopping streets. Within 10 minutes of walking, you can reach Wapenplein from the station or skate in Leopoldpark.

E40: The E40 highway connects Brussels to Oostende. In just over an hour, you can drive from Brussels to Oostende.

E17: From Antwerp, take the E17 and then the E40 towards Oostende.
