Where can I leave my waste?
Are you staying in Ostend and do you want to leave your waste somewhere? Then you can go to a so-called waste street.
A waste street consists of:
- a glass bubble;
- a container for residual waste;
- a container for paper and cardboard;
- a container for PMD (plastic, metal, drink cartons) .
Anyone can use these waste containers. Only the container for residual waste is against payment after inserting a coin of 50 euro cents. This is for approximately 25 liters of waste and it does not need to be placed in a regular household waste bag.
Attention! Do not hold your (car) keys in your hands when you use the waste street or waste container. Keys regularly disappear in the container.
