Organic Vision opened in the spring of 2018, but before that, manager Larisa served vegetable macrobiotic-inspired dishes in De Graankorrel for years. Organic Vision offers a vegan dish of the day. Located on the outskirts of Ostend, in the quiet suburb of Stene, Sassy’s is a favorite spot of many who love vegan pizza or pasta. Also try their vegan pastries such as muffins and cakes. Lovers of vintage furniture will surely feel right at home at Sassy's.
CultuurCafe De Grote Post respects customers who want to eat animal-free food. A lentil dish with carrot tapenade and sweet potato, or a dish with seitan, zucchini and tomato are among the options to choose from.
Vegans will also get their money's worth at Belle de Jour - in the pleasant Madrid Street. The menu changes daily, but usually one or more vegetarian dishes are offered. At La Vie on the Vissersplein there are no vegan dishes on the menu. However, if you inform the staff that you are vegan, they’ll point out those dishes with a vegan counterpart.. As a starter, chef Joicy makes delicious papadums or vegan sushi rolls, and as a main course you can choose between curry, kimchi ramen or tortillas with guacamole.
