The Royal North Sea Yacht Club was founded in the winter of 1946-1947. Since its early days, the "dragons" have been permanent residents of the club. The excellent restaurant is open to all visiting sailors and features a beautiful sun terrace. The club is easily accessible, as it is directly connected to the sea, and hosts numerous IRC and CRC class races.
Since March 1, 2021, BV Mercator Marina has also been integrated into the RNSYC organization as a subsidiary! The integration doubles the capacity and now allows skippers to choose between three docks to moor: ready to sail from Montgomerydok, or behind the lock in Mercatordok 1 and 2.
