Easter holidays in Ostend
A lovely spring sun, the latest edition of The Crystal Ship, lots of activities for children and all the City by the Sea’s other well-known assets. What better place to spend a relaxing Easter break? You have definitely come to the right location for a mind-clearing walk on the beach, fine evening dining or just a plain old shopping spree (even on a Sunday)!
“The Crystal Ship” arrived in Ostend in 2016 and 2017: renowned and world-famous artists made enormous paintings on walls as well as fantastic art installations in open spaces. During the Easter holidays of 2018, about 15 new murals were added to the collection. All together, this creates an artistic journey in and around Ostend. ‘The Crystal Ship - art festival in the city' is the biggest festival of its genre in Europe.
This year, we welcomed top artists such as Icy & Sot (US), Colectivo Licuado (URY), Sainer (PL), Gaia (US), Milu Correch (AR), Ben Slow (UK) and Zoer & Velvet (FR).
Must do's during the Easter holidays
1,000 square metres of trampolines, a huge ball bath, and a challenging play area for the little ones, all connected by an inspiring coffee bar: that is the definition of Hangtime! In addition to the trampolines, we offer heaps of extras: basketball hoops, dodgeball trampolines, foam pits—the list goes on. For the little ones, there is a challenging play area built by De Van Hut. Despite being for children, this area is not child's play in bright colours: it's a discovery zone.Read more
