‘Dining with Art’

25/10 to 15/04

‘Met Kunst aan Tafel’ (‘Dining with Art’) is a cultural gourmet top event, which will be held in Ostend. Culinary delights prepared by a couple of renowned restaurants will be paired with exclusive works of art created by Jan Fabre. This event ties in with the exhibition “The Raft. Art is (not) Lonely.”, which will be held in Ostend from October to April.

During “The Raft. Art is (not) Lonely.”, a number of restaurants will be offering a special menu to accompany the exhibition. After finishing your meal, you will receive a charger plate, designed by Jan Fabre, which you can take home as a collector’s item. Inspiration for the various works of art has been drawn from extracts of his ‘Nachtboeken’ (‘The Night Books’). During the next six months, you will be able to collect all six charger plates in the following restaurants.
