Digital Walk: Ostend during the Great War

We use the diary of Charles Castelein, who was a 52-year-old tram worker in 1914, as a guide. See the war years of Oostende through the eyes of a local inhabitant. You complete the walk at your own pace with the help of an audio guide with screen. Devices can be borrowed from: Toerisme Oostende, Monacoplein 2, 8400 Oostende Duration of the walk: 1,5 - 2 hours Reservation is recommended. This is possible by phone (+32 59 70 11 99) or mail (info@visitoostende.be). Please announce yourself not later than 2 pm. Upon renting the ipods and as a guarantee you will be requested to fill out a form. A credit card or a (Belgian) Identity Card is required.

1/9 - 11/11: open daily from 10 am til 6 pm
12/11- 31/3: open daily from 10 am til 5.30 pm
1/4 - 30/6: open daily from 10 am til 6 pm
1/7 - 31/8: open daily from 9 am til 7 pm
