Concert Bury Youth Concert and Orchestra

Bury Youth Orchestra was founded over 30 years ago and has grown from strength to strength over the years, performing all over the UK and abroad.Highlights in the past few years have included performing at the National Finals of the Music For Youth at Birmingham Symphony Hall and at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. The Youth Orchestra have enjoyed working with partners across the Greater Manchester region, sharing their music with the whole community, in particular inspiring the younger generation of future musicians. Bury Youth Concert Band has been running for 25 years and in that time has seen hundreds of talented young musicians come through its ranks. The band is one of the Senior ensembles at Bury Music Service and is made up of young people from the many different schools across the town. The Band rehearses on Saturday mornings and gives many concert performances throughout the year, recently including carols at Manchester Piccadilly Station and an evening at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music.

Concert Koninklijke Stadsharmonie Oostende

Koninklijke Stadsharmonie Oostende (the City Brass and Reed band of Ostend) was founded in 1850 and used to be known under the name of 'Société Euterpe'. In the past, the band mainly provided a happy element to the summers in Ostend. Because of this, it receives protocol as well as festive assignments. In addition to the well-known classics, the band now also performs works specifically composed for the orchestra.

Concert Macclesfield Youth Brass Band

Macclesfield Youth Brass Band (MYBB) was formed in September 2005. We are a registered charity , a partner of the Love Music Trust and a member of Making Music. MYBB currently has over 120 members aged between 7 and 19 years old. We have a Youth band, a Junior band and a Training band. All of our tutors and helpers give their time and expertise on a voluntary basis. We pride ourselves on our modern and dynamic approach. We know that young people love playing in bands, they love the music, the team spirit and the social side too so we provide the best experiences we can to keep them motivated and committed to a hobby which relies on their commitment. MYBB has gained recognition for many innovative projects designed to encourage inclusion in music making for all children. These include our asthma scheme in conjunction with the paediatric respiratory department at Macclesfield General Hospital and initiatives to support children with special educational or physical needs.

Concert Bournemouth Youth Marching Band

The Bournemouth Youth Marching Band is a traditional style youth band based close to the boundary between Bournemouth and Poole in Dorset. As a wind band we have the full range of brass and woodwind instruments. The 'Corps of Drums' comprises of drums and percussion with the snare drummers also playing bugles.The Band holds regular concerts and also performs in musical displays, carnivals, parades and ceremonial events. As a Band we are passionate about our members making music and furthering their musical ability. Our members develop and practice their musical skills in a fun and supportive environment. We play a wide variety of music from different genres including modern pop, film and show music, traditional marches and the classics. Our repertoire is regularly updated for the various events. We are a registered charity and a Youth Project with the Bournemouth Council for Voluntary Service.
