Isabelle Beernaert is a one of a kind choreographer known for her ability to translate the everyday, ordinary life into an extraordinary choreography. Her choreographies express what everyone goes through and feels at some point in life. The audience is able to relate to the stories told on stage. In 'Le Temps Perdu' Isabelle Beernaert shows the richness of the small, the self-evident, through four couples, representing the four seasons. Pure, seemingly everyday movements are reinterpreted, to seek nuanced beauty. With aging, with the passage of the seasons, the couples become more fragile, but stronger in their togetherness.
