On 3 April 1995, the Amandine sailed into the port of Ostend for the last time. Fortunately, the Amandine was given a new life as a museum and you can now revisit this piece of maritime heritage. Using multimedia installations, your museum experience is taken to a higher level.

The exhibition and the furnished Amandine give you a good idea of the rough life on board an Icelandic fisherman. Various scenes depict the activities on the boat. An intense experience for all the senses!
